- Training on seed production techniques were organized.
- Four seed villages were established during 2012-13.
- Presently 53 seed villages are producing certified seed of rice, pigeon pea and mustard in about 1000 ha.

Turmeric cultivation on hills

- Presently rainfed turmeric is being cultivated in about 100 ha in hilly area of the district.

Mushroom Cultivation

- Farm women were trained on production of Oyster mushroom.
- 60 groups of tribal farm women are engaged in production of mushroom.
- In case of excess production, they also prepare mushroom pickles and sell.

Bee-Keeping
